CSE® Deactivator: Negative Application

That's how easy it is
We keep saying that using our CSE® deactivator is “very easy”, because it is! In this short video we prove it. In just 2 minutes we will show you how to apply our CSE® Deactivator perfectly for a “negative application”. For this demo we used our water-based CSE® “nova” and created a micro exposed aggregate concrete surface - see for yourself!

Simple and Concise - instructions

  • Apply CSE® nova evenly to the mould with a roller
  • Allow CSE® Deactivator to dry
  • Mix concrete
  • Pour, compact and smoothen concrete
  • Allow concrete to cure for approx. 24 hrs
  • Carefully remove the mould
  • Wash out the deactivated concrete surface
  • Here you go -The result shows a micro-exposed aggregate concrete surface
  • Allow concrete to dry and admire the result

At the end of the video, we show how easy it is to clean the mould after using the CSE® Deactivator. In just a few steps the concrete mould is cleaned and ready for reuse. All you need is water, a brush and a cloth.
