Absorbing the breaking point - with fibres TECHNOFIBER
Shrinkage cracks on the surface of concrete or cementitious screed may occur when the fresh concrete/screed surface is creating so called plastic shrinkage stress in the first hours of hydration, at a time when the early strength is still too low to compensate this deformation. Here special fibres are useful to bridge the time until the concrete itself is strong enough. The fibres also increase the flexible strength and have a long-term positive effect, especially on wear and abrasion resistance.
