With our range of CSE® Deactivators you can obtain a wide variety of exposed aggregate concrete surfaces from micro-exposed texture to coarse exposure depths. Above is a clear explanation of the positive (top surface) application.
The CSE® Deactivator can be applied in two different ways. In the so-called positive (top surface) application, the CSE® Deactivator is sprayed directly onto the concrete surface. If the deactivator is applied to the mould/form before the concrete is cast, then it's called negative (face-down) application. In order to explain the application methods more clearly, we have illustrated the procedure in simple work steps in a new information sheet.
